Since the debut in Rome, W Hotels will arrive to the Italian fashion capital this autumn. It will be centrally located in the Brera district, behind Teatro alla Scala and Via Montenapoleone. Here, studio Urquiola’s project reinterprets the Rationalist architecture of the original late 1950s building, giving life to a sophisticated and contemporary interior design that captures the Milanese essence through its colours, materials, finishes and inspirations.
W Milan will have 116 rooms, of which 14 are suites and an Extreme Wow Suite, the W interpretation of the Presidential Suite. The hotel will offer an international choice of cuisine from the Odachi Japanese restaurant to the Scena restaurant, designed by Michelin-starred chef Andrea Berton. For an aperitif, the W Lounge will welcome guests in a lively atmosphere with a superb cocktail list and, in the warmer days, will be able to enjoy at the rooftop bar Aria where guests will also be able to make use of the panoramic swimming pool.
