After the great success of the September edition with 60,000 participants and over 100 involved locations, Romadiffusa, a project conceived by Sara D’Agati and Maddalena Salerno with the support of Roma Capitale, returns on December 16 and 17 with an innovative Christmas proposal. The concept is to change the perception of Rome, portraying it not just as a city tied to its glorious past but as a modern eternal city. The theme for this weekend is “Christmas do it yourself”, an initiative that will include over 50 creative workshops across the city – from ceramics to crochet, floral design, illustration, watercolour, leather-working, and much more – focusing on handmade Christmas gifts, sustainability, and community.

Some of the highlights this weekend:

VARSI ART LAB: an art workshop in Monteverde, will host bookbinding and screen printing workshops.

STUDIOCOSE: a creative space for women in Monte Mario, will present a series of workshops including crochet, ceramics, and illustration.

In the spaces of STUDIO LAMPO in Furio Camillo, independent publishers DITO Publishing and Beauroma Books will offer a workshop on creating fanzines using experimental binding techniques.

At DESIGN FOOD HOUSE in Portuense, there will be workshops focusing on taste and stimulation of scent.

The SPAZIO NON DISPONIBILE collective in Appio Latino will open its doors to introduce participants to the world of screen printing.
