Aman Rosa Alpina has officially reopened in San Cassiano, deep in the Dolomites, following an extensive renovation that blends nearly a century of heritage with the contemporary refinement of the Aman brand. A longtime symbol of alpine hospitality, the hotel has been managed by the Pizzinini family since 1939 and now enters a new chapter in collaboration with Aman.
Renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy led the redesign, combining local craftsmanship and natural materials with Aman’s minimalist aesthetic. The result is 51 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, most featuring fireplaces, panoramic terraces, and serene views of the surrounding peaks. The standout Aman Suite offers expansive living space, steam showers, and a private south-facing terrace.
Gastronomy plays a central role. Executive Chef Gianluca Salvato oversees a range of refined dining experiences—from Il Salotto, a day-to-night lounge with live piano, to The Grill, serving grilled meats and artisanal pizzas. Additional venues include the intimate Di Vino wine room and a cigar lounge. This winter, the hotel will debut Akari, a Japanese restaurant offering Shabu Shabu and rare sake selections.
Wellness is also key to the offering. The new Aman Spa spans 1,684 square meters across two levels, featuring signature treatments such as the Alpine Muscle Relief massage. A year-round program of outdoor activities includes hiking, skiing, and climbing, with amenities like a Ski Butler service and private cinema rooms enhancing the guest experience.
With its blend of timeless design, discreet luxury, and immersive nature experiences, Aman Rosa Alpina repositions itself as a premier destination in the Alps—where the mountains serve not only as a scenic backdrop, but as a stage for discovery, relaxation, and refined living.
