A taste of Rome in Milan

A new Roman flow seeps through Milan at Via Sirtori 34, where Cascina Romana has opened its doors. The brainchild of actor Claudio Amendola and restaurateur Andrea La Caita, the project celebrates comforting and traditional Roman cuisine. The kind that travellers wizz across the world just to taste on a Vacanze Romane. Born from a shared love for authentic food and convivial dining, Cascina Romana blends two beloved culinary identities: Amendola’s Frezza, known for its homestyle Roman dishes, and La Caita’s Li Somari, which offers a refined, modern twist on traditional countryside recipes. Spread across two floors, you’ll find the authentic cuisine of Frezza on the ground floor, where the restaurant’s most beloved dishes, like Roman-style fried bites and classic pasta are paired with expert mixology. Guests can dine at the bar, letting skilled bartenders guide them in finding the perfect cocktail to match their meal. Upstairs reveals the heart of Li Somari’s traditional cuisine, where regional dishes are reimagined with a contemporary twist by renowned chef Adriano Baldassarre.
