In Cagliari, between the bastion of Saint Remy and the Marina, Casa Clàt is the latest family-run boutique hotel by Caterina and Claudio Murgia, founders of behind the renowned mussel farming business Nieddittas. Nine suites, a mediterranean style restaurant and lounge bar and an enchanted secret garden to enjoy an alfresco aperitif at sunset. Giorgio Casu, entrusted with the design of the hotel, was inspired by the earthly elements of the mediterranean, bringing corals, dunes and abysses into the setting. Creativity and diversity feature in the suites as well as multiple elements that highlight some of the most appreciated Sardinian artisans and designers, such as Carolina Melis and Mauro Patta.
The culinary scene is led by the young Executive Chef Filippo Monaco under the wing of Umberto Vezzoli with a menu that highlights the beautiful blend of local, high quality raw materials with international influences. Guests will be able to dine whilst admiring the chefs at work via an open kitchen.
The lounge bar welcomes you throughout the day beginning with a breakfast proposal in the morning, a light lunch and late afternoon aperitif with signature cocktails by Head Barman Marco Madeddu.
Wine is an important part of Casa Clàt with the presence of a historic wine cellar and numerous local and national labels to be enjoyed with a meal or as a wine tasting experience accompanied by local cheese and cured meat platters.
