Expanding its portfolio in Italy

Together with Pietro Ruffo, a Roman artist specialized in contemporary art, Piazza Sallustio is set to invite its first guests on March 6th. The famous artist known for his collabs with major fashion houses like Dior and Valentino has designed this new hotel centred on the ‘layers of the city’. Drawing inspiration from the starry skies depicted in the Atlas Coelestis and the influential figures who have shaped Rome throughout its history, the hotel tells the story of the Eternal City through its cutting-edge design.

Located just a few steps away from the city’s hotspots, Ruffo and art’otel have created much more than just a pleasant stay. With its 99 rooms, including 11 suites, a TechnoGym-equipped fitness, and a fine dine restaurant, the hotel offers an artistic experience akin to entering a contemporary art museum. And there’s more to that, in August, the hotel’s first exhibition will be held serving as a multifunctional space for locals, travellers and artists to connect and enjoy this modern hub featuring artworks and cultural events.

As a final touch to the brand’s artsy concept, Piazza Sallustio has created the hotel’s cultural program called art’beat, offering a worth-saving calendar of events representing art, music, fashion, wellness, and gastronomy – an opportunity to experience the city in a bold yet cultural way.
