Until the end of April 2023, the St. Regis Florence in collaboration with Liquid Art System, Franco Senesi’s brand of galleries, will host works of art by the Korean artist Seo Young in the common areas of the hotel – Deok, by the Spanish duo Coderch & Malavia and the Italian sculptor Giacinto Bosco. The collaboration between Liquid Art System and The St. Regis Florence aims to attract an audience of collectors, artists and lovers of beauty, entering a path of continuous evolution of the city increasingly “contaminated” by the Contemporary.
The works will be available to hotel guests and also to those who want to come in to admire them, perhaps stopping for a cocktail at the Winter Garden Bar or for a pleasant gastronomic experience at the Winter Garden Restaurant, where you can taste the creations of Chef Gentian Shehi. Or, perhaps organising a British-style afternoon tea experience with The St. Regis Tea Ritual: a journey into the world of Dammann Frères with the guidance of the Tea Sommelier and with the delicacies created by the Pastry Chef. Or, at the end of the day, the St. Regis Evening Ritual: an exclusive aperitif with finger food and a glass of bubbles, accompanied by the sabrage ritual, every day from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. In the majestic living room which is the hotel lobby, Travolti dalla Luna and Altalena, by Giacinto Bosco are exhibited, while in the elegant library is Kymo, by the duo Coderch & Malavia, a bronze sculpture with a vivid blue colour. In the frescoed niche of the foyer leading to the Winter Garden restaurant, Meditation, by Seo Young-Deok.
At the Winter Garden Bar, open every day from 11.00 to 1.00, guests can taste the Brunello Bloody Mary: a local interpretation of the iconic St. Regis Bloody Mary. The signature cocktail of The St. Regis Florence inspired by the city and the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
