Summer Nights at Borgo Santo Pietro

In the heart of Tuscany, Borgo Santo Pietro presents Festum Terrae, a monthly dinner series that pays homage to the land itself open to both internal and external guests. At the heart of the experience is a long, elegantly set table in the estate’s vegetable garden, laden with a spread that tells the story of Borgo’s self-sustaining ecosystem. Under the direction of Executive Chef Ariel Hagen, every dish is crafted entirely from ingredients grown, foraged, or raised on the property, from just-picked vegetables and aromatic herbs gathered in the orchards to farmstead meats cooked over an open fire using time-honoured techniques.Twice during the season, the culinary spotlight expands to welcome guest chefs from South America, who join the Saporium team to create an unforgettable fusion of cultures and cuisines.

As the sun dips low, filtering through olive branches, guests are welcomed into this otherworldly setting with a glass of Borgo’s own rosé or house-brewed kombucha, alongside a tasting of homemade pecorino cheeses.

Take a seat as you watch the chef’s prepare an outstanding feast while live music plays in the backdrop. When it’s time, choose your place at the table and a series of antipasti will come rolling in, followed by the main course and, of course, dessert. Enjoy a fantastic evening of show cooking, beautiful company and wholesome experience that tells the story of Borgo Santo Pietro’s circular, deeply rooted way of living and dining.
