The property, a meticulously restored 15th-century villa set within five hectares of private parkland, comprises eleven buildings across 32 rooms and suites, designed by British duo Guy Oliver and Holly Hulburd with an interiors language of decorated ceilings, ancient stone fireplaces and bespoke local craftsmanship. For complete privacy, Villa La Sosta, an independent 385-square-metre residence with five en-suite rooms and a private pool, offers a world entirely its own.
The park is one of the largest private green spaces belonging to any hotel in Florence: a sequence of historic gardens, olive groves and woodland paths that lead, eventually, to a 30-metre outdoor pool destined to be the city’s largest.
