From shabby chic, Tulum vibes to an infused atmosphere of elegance and glamour: these beach clubs are worth visiting during your summer escape.

1

One Fire Beach Praiano, Campania

Now THEY sure know how to have a good time. One Fire Beach is a lido located in Cala della Gavitella in Praiano. Bright orange sun loungers to match the umbrellas – it only seems fair to throw in a spritz. It’s all about the good vibes here and to make things even sweeter, grab a slice of watermelon, the centre piece of the beach club, also known as ‘melon time’ and let loose. From 16.30 there will be ecstatic dancing, music and a all round amusement. WEBSITE

Alpemare, Forte dei Marmi, Toscana

Forte dei Marmi is the centre of Italian glamour in central Italy along the coast of Versilia. A lesser known Capri or Portofino but still the IT destination for many Italians. Here are numerous luxury hotels and fabulous beach clubs where you can spend the day dipping in and out of the sea, swimming pool and nipping to the bar for a refreshing Aperol spritz. Thanks to the accurate restoration of the Bocelli family, the historic Bagno Alpemare has been given a second life, maintaining its charm and elegance. Amidst draped curtains (and usb charging ports), experimental cocktails and fine dining, Alpemare has become the ultimate day to chill out. WEBSITE

3

Phi Beach, Baja Sardinia, Sardegna

An iconic beach club situated in one of the most beautiful bays of the Italian peninsula: Baja Sardinia. Here the water is so crystal clear it feels as though you’re swimming in a saltwater pool. Surrounded by the lush, wild landscapes of Sardinia, Phi Beach is the kind of place you come for a good time: international DJs, unrivalled sunsets and an excellent restaurant menu. WEBSITE

4

Lido Bambù, Puglia

Lido Bambù is one of the latest acquisitions of Masseria Torre Maizza, a bohemian inspired beach club with sombrero-like umbrellas and cushioned sun beds where you can spend the day (and take the free shuttle bus)amongst turquoise waters. Lunches are served at the restaurant overlooking the Adriatic, with a mediterranean inspired menu curated by Fulvio Pierangelini, who integrates locally sourced ingredients that speak of Apulian cuisine with a creative flair. Grilled octopus and a glass of sparkling rosé is the ultimate summer combination. WEBSITE

Maya Beach Experience, Sorrento, campania

As soon as you enter the Maya Beach Experience you feel transported into a place where beauty, elegance and creativity reign. Raffia and wooden furnishings, fringed sun umbrellas – you’re almost transported to Tulum or Bali – minus the exceptional views of the Amalfi Coastline. WEBSITE

La Dogana, Capalbio, toscana

Located in the beautiful Tuscan Riviera more specifically in Capalbio, with a unique charm we find La Dogana. With its ultimate refined style, surrounded by the perfumes and colours of the Mediterranean, La Dogana offers a cocktail and lounge bar where you can have a drink overlooking the sea, or have a traditional meal at the restaurant. Riva del Fuenti, Vietri sul Mare, Campania

Located in a place where sea and land finally meet to produce something extraordinary. The Riva del Fuenti beach club is at the bottom of the charming promontory that once was used to harvest fruits and wines. Immersed in the perfume of lemons we find the Limoneto Bar, where you can enjoy a drink while gazing at the sun setting. The beach club also offers a restaurant that overlooks the Gulf of Salerno where you will be able to try a cuisine that brings the sea to your plate. WEBSITE
